The North Goa District is further divided into four subdivisions – Mapusa, Bicholim, Panaji and Ponda

There are six Talukas in Northern Goa: Pernem Taluka, Bardez Taluka (Mapusa), Bicholim Taluka, Sattari Taluka (Valpoy), Tiswadi Taluka (Panaji) and Ponda Taluka

 North Goa District: Panaji is the headquarters of the North Goa district.
